It cannot be denied that the "found footage" sub-genre of horror flicks requires the viewers to suspend skepticism a bit. The idea is smart - you're viewing something that supposedly really occurred, which gives the flick somewhat documentary- style credibility. However, you must accept that at some point in the film, you're going to scream, it’s amazing that the "Scream" franchise hasn't mock this trope yet. Either you can cope with this, or you can't. If you can, the "Paranormal Activity 4" (PA 4) film should be on your must-see list.
In case if you didn't get to see this film in theaters, you can catch it at home when the DVD / Blu-ray combo pack released on January 29th, 2013. PA 4 is also available as digital downloads on January 15, 2013. The extras will include nearly 30 minutes of deleted scenes.
