Entourage Movie Adaptation in the Works

A film version of comedy drama series “Entourage” that originally aired on HBO from 2004 – 2011 and ran for eight seasons finally get the go-ahead by Warner Bros.

According to Deadline the adaptation will be helmed by the show's creator Doug Ellin based on his own script. Original cast members including Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jeremy Piven are all said to be in negotiations to reprise their roles from the TV show.

The show has taken a special place near the top of my television screening rotation. The 1st season was the hook that caught my attention to the show detailing the entourage of a booming star and their daily life. It's a view of the `in' lifestyle of the Hollywood icons in an amusing and daring style. The drama introduces guest star after guest star giving it a very `real' kinda vibe while casting the guest stars in such a way to soothe the general expectations of the viewers. Seeing stars `outside' their performing element talking to agents, seeing mad Hollywood execs, crazy directors, etc all become great elements to contribute to the story.
