AiC revealed The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, 2013 tour setlist

When Alice in Chains (AiC) released their first album in the mid nineties, it showed the group heading in a new direction from the one they'd explored earlier. Jerry Cantrell was playing lead on more songs than before, Layne Staley's voice were heavily layered and the grunge sound they'd had developed into a more progressive metal type sound. Layne passed away several years after the release of that record and it appeared for a while that the band had died with him. Almost one and a half decades passed and no new material surface except for occasional members’ attempt outside of the grunge groups reign. In 2009, they have returned to the music scene with Black Gives Way to Blue. Found guitarist Jerry Cantrell has found a true replacement for the late singer with William Duvall. William and Jerry harmonize superbly, which is truly the signature sound of AiC.

AiC are currently working on their next studio album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, due for release in May 2103. Hollow – the first single AiC released from their new album. A little over 5 minutes, this song flows much more like I Stay Away but it has a faster paced theme behind it.
