Naomi Watts Newest Film The Impossible gets home video release

Movies based on real events can simply fall into the trap of uninspired storytelling with some emotional hooks with fewer moments of excitement for the audience. "The Impossible" manages to pass up these drawbacks but is still affected by few minor glitches common to the genre. Those looking for an action flick may not be thrilled by the story at once, but it builds nicely and covers many elements familiar to them.

The Impossible is directed by J.A. Bayona based on a script by Sergio G. Sánchez and stars Naomi Watts as Maria Bennett, Ewan McGregor as Henry Bennett, Tom Holland as Lucas Bennett, Samuel Joslin as Tomas Bennett and Oaklee Pendergast as Simon Bennett. It centers on Henry’s family, wife “Maria” and his three kids “Lucas”, “Tomas” and “Simon”, from their arrival in Thailand to their final exit to Singapore after the disturbing incidents. The kids also experience a growth period and face many challenges all through the movie. The family sustains injuries due to the unstable environment. They also face separation and learn firsthand the potential consequences of holiday travel to a country without the best in first world healthcare.
