The sound of The Killers continues to progress on every record while the voice of Brandon Flowers has a distinctive familiarity that keeps the group fixed in familiar territory, which is in fact a very nice thing to fans of the band.
Four years since their last album “Day & Age” The Killers back with 2012's Battle Born. Their new album isn't likely to pull in new audience, and if you're looking for something like Hot Fuss, you won't find it here. But, you will find strong ballads with deepest lyrics plus that synth/rock/pop sound that only this band can pull off.
