Mumford and Sons want to have their own brand of whiskey

The Mumford & Sons seem to be diversifying their business, and not be restricted only to the world of music. Keyboardist Ben Lovett revealed that the band is eager to have their own brand of whiskey. British newspaper The Sun confirmed that the drink will be available in a few years time.

The British band is not the first to venture into the field of customized drinks. The Kiss, By example has lines of wines and champagnes for sale in the U.S. market and Motorhead also have their own beer. However, the most successful case is that of Sammy Hagar, the former lead singer of Van Halen and now the frontman of Chickenfoot who created Cabo Wabo tequila. He is so successful that several years ago he has sold 80% stake in the company for $ 80 million.
