Use Voice Command “Ok Google Now" to Activate Moto X

The Motorola has revealed its first smartphone, Moto X, after its acquisition by Google.

Google has officially announced all the details of their new smartphone: the Motorola Moto X is equipped with a 4.7-inch touchscreen that has a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (dual core, clock speed: 1.7 GHz). In addition to two GB of memory either 16 or 32 GB of data storage are available. However, there is no external memory card slot. On board are still LTE, HSPA, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and a GPS module. Two cameras are installed: one with ten megapixel resolution and Full HD video recording on the back and another with two megapixels for video chat. The Moto X runs on "Android 4.2.2" operating system.

One of the key features is the advanced voice control: with the words "Ok Google Now" to start the voice control of the Moto X. The operation of the smartphone via the voice control is expected to make so much more convenient than with Siri on the iPhone. In both, you must always activate the voice control with a single button. Conversely, it also means that the Moto X around the clock must eavesdrop on its environment, to detect the activation command.

The Moto X comes with 18 different colors - together with different colored rear shells.

The Motorola Moto X is available from the end of August in the U.S. and Canada, and from September in Latin America. The price in the United States: $ 199 in connection with a mobile phone contract (duration: two years).
