AM pay tribute to Lou Reed, Cover Walk On The Wild Side

The Arctic Monkeys paid tribute to Lou Reed yesterday (28) during their concert in Liverpool with the cover of his biggest hit "Walk On The Wild Side ". Reed died on Sunday aged 71.

The musician was admitted to the hospital in June for a liver transplant. The surgery was successful at first, but failed from complications from Hepatitis C.

Knowing the irreversibility of the situation, Reed chosen to return home and spend his final moments with his friends and family.

"Walk On The Wild Side" was originally released in 1972. The song hit the UK Top 10 and reached number 6 on the USA chart.
