Keane, the British rockers taking an indefinite break

The Keane, the British rock band will be taking an indefinite hiatus to allow members to focus on their personal projects. Frontman Tom Chaplin wants to record a solo album while keyboardist Tim Rice-Oxley wants to compose for other artists. The British magazine "The Sun On Sunday" revealed the final separation of the band, but a spokesman for the group denied the story.

Before the break, the Keane will release a compilation album. "The Best Of Keane" will hit stores on November 11 and will contain 20 tracks, two of them previously unreleased.

The Keane is one of the most popular bands in the recent history- all four of their albums reached top spots of the UK charts.
