Pearl Jam’s Lightning Bolt reached No. 1 spot on the Billboard album chart

Pearl Jam reached No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 with their latest album "Lightning Bolt", reaching the position for the fifth time in their career.

The album sold 166,000 copies in its first week. The other albums that reached the top were: "Backspacer", 2009 "No Code", 1996,"Vitalogy", 1994 and "Vs" 1993.

The biggest selling album in the first week was "Backspacer", reaching 189,000 copies.

Rounding out the top three, "Bangerz" from Miley Cyrus dropped to the second position, and Paul McCartney debuted in third place with "New".
