The extravagant marriage proposal from Kanye West to Kim Kardashian was not exactly like the rapper had planned.
According to website RadarOnline.com, Kim is a big fan of Lana Del Rey and loves the track "Young And Beautiful". Because of this, Kanye invited the pop star to perform at the ceremony, but she declined the invitation.
"Lana politely declined and gave no reason explaining why she could not perform. "Kanye tried to insist, but was unsuccessful. He then decided to hire an orchestra to play music to Kim and was very happy with the result."
Besides, presenting the soundtrack from the movie The Great Gatsby, the orchestra consists of 50 musicians also performed "Keri Hilson’s Knock You Down (Ft. Kanye West & Ne-Yo) while the stadium screen displayed the words PLEASE MARRY ME!
"Kim was upset because Lana did not appear at the event, but is still a big fan. She loved that at least the groom tried to get her. Kim now makes jokes saying that Lana will accept to perform at her wedding".
