The singer and songwriter Adele appeared at the event at Buckingham Palace in London this morning, Thursday (19) to receive the British Empire Medal (BEM) from HRH Prince Charles of Wales for her contribution to the music industry.
Now with the title, granted by monarchs, the artist is known as Miss Adele Adkins, not only for her cultural contribution to the UK, but also to have won awards like the Golden Globe and Oscar.
