The Musicmetric announced recently Rihanna and Bruno Mars were the most pirated artists of 2013.
According to figures provided by the "BitTorrent", each singer was the target of illegal downloads more than five million times, followed closely by Daft Punk, Justin Timberlake and Flo Rida.
Gregory Mead, one of the chief executives of Musicmetric said that despite being against illegal downloads these numbers are useful for artists who know where their popularity and can go to such places to make money from touring.
Joining the number of illegal downloads made of the 20 most pirated artists of the year, which also includes One Direction and Katy Perry, more than 64 million tracks pirated just by "BitTorrent".
