Adam Lambert announces new tour with Queen, 2014

Singer Adam Lambert announced during his participation in the Good Morning America show that he will emerge on a new tour as lead singer of the band Queen.

To promote the series of shows, the musician also participated in a press conference at Madison Square Garden along with Brian May and Roger Taylor.

The trio announced 19 shows in North America between June and July, with concerts in Chicago, Washington and New York.

Lambert also said he was flattered to be part of the project. "Freddie Mercury" is a hero to me. I'm deeply grateful to have the chance to sing such powerful music for fans of this legendary band," he said.

Adam Lambert had done a few shows with the band, but this is the first time that the singer will do a full tour.
