The lead singer of Strokes', Julian Casablancas, revealed more details of his new solo album during his tour in South America.
In an interview with Radio Cooperativa Chile, the musician compared the new sound with artists such as Black Flag and Sebastien Tellier . "There are 45 different things I like to do and don't want to hear the same sound in three consecutive songs," said Julian.
In addition to recently released single Instant Crush, Casablancas', which features on the critically acclaimed album "Random Access Memories". The singer says he is currently working with Daft Punk on another song he hopes to finish it soon.
About new material of the Strokes, the singer revealed that they will work together again, but with no great pretensions. "We're trying to keep it friendly, going steady, recording some songs and doing some shows."
Julian Casablancas will be here in Brazil on Saturday (5) as one of the attractions of the Lollapalooza festival, held in São Paulo.
