The film "rudderless" was shown to a selected group at the Sundance Festival in January this year, it will hit North American theaters this October, and the first trailer starring Selena Gomez was released yesterday (14).
The singer makes a cameo in the film, playing Kate, who loses her boyfriend Josh for a fatal accident.
The story follows the father of the teenager, who after the death of her son, finds a box with recordings of songs composed by Josh himself, and form a band with another teenager to honor the memory of the boy.
Selena Gomez recently released track “Hold On” featuring Ben Kweller will be included on the soundtrack of the movie.
