The Smashing Pumpkins will close one of Lollapalooza 2015 shows. According to journalist José Norberto, the Billy Corgan’s band signed a contract to perform at the festival which takes place on March 28 and 29 at the Interlagos Circuit in Sao Paulo.
This will not be the first time that the Pumpkins play in a Brazilian festival. In 1996 the group was one of the main attractions of Hollywood Rock in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In 2010 the band returned to close the Planet Earth (Planeta Terra).
The official program of the Lollapalooza will be announced next Sunday 16. According to press reports, the festival lineup will also include Pharrell as another large main attraction and Jack White, Robert Plant, Kasabian, Calvin Harris, Skrillex and Foster The People. They will perform in various stages that will be mounted on the Circuit.
