The killing of Meryn Trant hands of Arya Stark left no one indifferent, least of all the actors, who return to this sequence. At a conference in London, Ian Beattie (Meryn Trant) confides: "Of course this killing is disturbing, but what disturbed me most is the previous scene where my character hits the group children including hides Arya. I am a father myself and it's really shocking. In August I received the script and November, when turning, not a day has passed without me thinking of that scene and my interpretation "

The actor had the wear artificial eyes and saw nothing during the ten hours of filming. Recall Arya stabbed repeatedly in the eyes. For her part, Maisie Williams discusses the troubling evolution of his character: "Arya has nothing to do with the girl from the first season, she sinks into darkness. At the dawn of this sixth season, it was demolished, she hit bottom, not because of an event or the loss of a loved one, but because of what it has become. One sees a crack and one wonders if she can recover from. "

At the end of Season 5, the young Stark loses his sight during his initiation among faceless. The British actress also evokes the violent aspect of the series. "We did not realize how these very graphic scenes were the result of intense backstage discussions. The writers love the characters, they do not suffer their worst insults pleasure"

Most downloaded series of all time, Game of Thrones is still a springboard for actors. "Game of Thrones has disrupted the lives of all its stakeholders. Once they see you in the soap, professionals know that you can play. I landed the roles that I would never have had five years ago as one of Sinn Fein leader Gerry Adams in the political film The Journey."
