Asus’ latest smartphone, Zenfone 4 Max, comes with Android 7.0, digital reader, dual camera with 13 megapixels and giant battery of 5,000 mAh. All this for a price of $ 235. Design
Overall, Asus maintained the same build as the previous generation in the Zenfone 4 Max: the body is made of metal and curved front glass ( 2.5D ), generating a very refined finish. However, the new phone features the digital reader on the front, next to the start button, and two capacitive navigation keys. With this, the user must unlock the device even if it is resting on the table.

The Zenfone 3 Max features a unique sensor. The simplest version (model ZC520TL) has 13 megapixels with f / 2.2 aperture, single LED flash and autofocus. Already the most powerful cell phone (model ZC553KL) has a 16 megapixel sensor with f / 2.0, mixed focus laser and phase and dual LED flash. Both can record in Full HD (1080p).

Asus introduced the Zenfone 4 with two processor options: a quad-core 1.4 GHz ( Snapdragon 425) or an octa-core up to 1.4 GHz (Snapdragon 430), which tend to vary by country . In addition, the phone has settings that include 2 GB, 3 GB or 4 GB RAM and internal storage ranging from 16 GB, 32 GB or 64 GB, expandable up to 256 GB via microSD . Previous generation, the Zenfone Max 3 has also been released with different specifications. The simplest version has a 1.25 GHz quad-core processor (MediaTek MT6737), 2 GB and 16 GB RAM, expandable up to 32 GB. Already the most powerful version has an eight-core 1.4 GHz processor (Snapdragon 430), 2 GB or 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage, with 256 GB memory card slot. There is even 4G connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual-chip function and micro USB input.
Looking at the numbers, it is possible to say that the Zenfone 4 Max brings only minor improvements over the predecessor.
The new phone arrives with Android 7.0, while the Zenfone 3 Max arrived with Android 6, but upgraded to the latest version of the system. Asus uses its own interface for the Zen system named Zen UI, which was maintained in Zenfone 4 Max with punctual modifications. In addition to changes in the look, the manufacturer also includes some applications on the mobile phone itself.
The battery, which was already big, got even bigger in the new generation. The Zenfone 4 Max has a component of 5,000 mAh, against 4,100 mAh of the predecessor. Just like the latest model, it is possible that the new phone will retain the ability to charge other devices. However, one point that may displease is the 10W charger, considered to be below the capacity of the phone, which generates a charging time of up to four hours.
