Next Samsung Galaxy, Z Fold 5, Unpacked event in July 2023

Samsung accidentally post a press release on one of their websites, revealing that the next unpacked event would take place in Seoul, Korea, in late July 2023. What they're going to do at this event is they're going to announce a ton of new products. We have the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, which is their smallest flipping foldable phone, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, a brand-new watch, and brand-new Samsung Galaxy buds, which would be buds number three. Here, we'll go into more detail about what to expect from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5.

This phone will have various improvements, and its general appearance will be fairly similar to that of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. One of the most noticeable modifications will be that the gap that often appears when you fold a phone will no longer exist thanks to a new hinge mechanism. When you fold the phone it's going to be completely flat so that's going to be a nice visual change and it also promises to reduce a little bit, it won't be invisible, but it will be reduced even further.

Now, when it comes to the actual displays, both the outside and the inside are exactly the same size, measuring 6.2 inches on the outside and 7.6 inches on the inside. Both panels will have a 120 hertz display refresh rate.

The CPU is going to be Snapdragon 8 gen 2; however, some people are speculating that it might be the Gen 2 plus model. However, the 8th Gen 2 CPU, which is currently powering the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, is already an exceptional processor with some of the biggest improvements in recent years. So it's going to be a great processor and great performance.

There will be some changes made to the camera. The 50 megapixel primary camera will have certain enhancements over the current model, and it will also feature 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle and telephoto lenses. However, the inner camera will actually have 12 megapixels and you will still be able to use the S Pen with the Z Fold 5, but it won't be integrated into the chassis like it was with the S23 Ultra.

There will be 12 gigabytes of RAM and the cost will probably be $1800. The Z Fold will have a Gorilla Glass Victus 2, which is the same as the S23 Ultra.

These are some of the details that we know about the Z Fold 5 based on some solid rumors.
