SMAO Drone comes with VR mode, 2K camera and flies steadily

The new SMAO Macro drone comes with virtual reality (VR) mode, 2K camera and even promises to fly steadily with the help of a high precision control and 360 degree turn in the air.

The drone hit the fundraising goal on the Indiegogo site. Available in the colors black, red and white, the device is priced from $ 69. The value already includes the drone, the remote control and the VR glasses. The forecast for delivery of the new drone worldwide is August 2017.

With virtual reality goggles, you can follow the drone's flight more immersively. The drone is capable of transmitting images in real time through the mobile application. This is done through SMAO's 2K camera, which records videos with 720p resolution and features an image stabilizer - which helps the device deliver a more interesting VR experience.

Among the possibilities of smartphone software, the drone can connect to Wi-Fi and be configured by phone. For example, you can draw a route on the screen for the drone to do exactly the same path in the air. The SMAO is still able to follow the gestures made by the user with the cell phone, such as right and left.

The SMAO has a 240 mAh battery capacity (two AAA batteries), with a 30 minute charge. The device can stay in the air for eight minutes and fly at a distance of 100 meters. Both the drone and VR glasses are compatible with Android and iPhone ( iOS ) phones.
