Many Harry Potter: Wizard's Unite (HPWU) players have been complaining that when they play it on their smartphones the battery of the device draining quickly. In order to save the battery life and extend the playing time, we would like to give you some useful tips and also we'll show you a trick that will help you to speed up the loading time.
Activate the battery saver
HPWU has already implemented a battery saver feature . To activate it, proceed as follows:
- Tap on your suitcase.
- Select the sprockets for the Settings menu in the upper left corner.
- Scroll down to the "Advanced" section .
- Push the slider to the right at the third item "Battery Saver" to turn it on.
Depending on whether you are playing on an iOS or Android device, you can also use the power saving settings to extend the battery life.
Disable the AR mode

To disable the AR mode:

- Scroll down to the Camera section

- Select the sprockets for the Settings menu in the upper left corner.
- Scroll down to the Sound section
Tap on the speaker icons in "Music" and "Sound Effects" to turn them off.
Take a power bank with you
For additional battery power on the road can also be worth the purchase of a power bank. Power bank can be connected via USB charging cable to your iOS or Android device and so have additional battery power, thanks to that you can be on the road longer, without having to go to a power outlet.
Speed Up HPWU Loading Time
Another trick that doesn’t save your battery directly, but accelerates the loading of game files. By default, HP: Wizards Unite will just load the just-needed game data in the background. However, you can also download all the game data in one go, so that longer load times are avoided on the way.
Do this as follows:
- Tap on your suitcase
- Select the sprocket for the Settings menu in the upper left corner.
- Scroll down to the Advanced section
- Touch Download All Resources
This downloads all game data (about 3.3 GB) . Of course, you should only choose this option if you also have enough space on your device. In addition, you should do this only in your W-LAN network at home, because during the process you can not continue playing.
One last tip: Do not run too many other apps in the background while playing Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, because depending on the app, they consume a lot of battery power in the background.
