Nicki Minaj's sophomore effort “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" has the merit of being the most anticipated record of 2012 by a female Hip Hop artist. She has finely placed herself elegantly in the music industry as a new breed of Hip Hop singers that have redefined and changed the sound and ambiance of rap. She is schizophrenic in her raping technique going from farthest of being boldly hardcore and then in the next breath being an R&B artist putting together POP into her arsenal. All said and done, many favor the blunt Nicki to the softer side, but as “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" exhibits, a blend of both “Rap and Pop” can work well. It is an upright, though not valedictory follow-up, but it does re-energize the female MC rap base, which is splendid. Where her latest effort could have been fortified might have been a few `pop' songs in favor of more rap songs that show off her manic side.
To promote her new album “Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded", Nicki Minaj will tour North American. The tour will kick off in Chicago in July 2012 and end in Vancouver, B.C. in August 2012 and the Setlist will include songs from her new album.
