British rock band Coldplay are about to drop their new single titled "Atlas", the track will feature on the soundtrack of Francis Lawrence upcoming film Catching Fire, second installment of The Hunger Games movie series. This will also be the first time that the band, Chris Martin composed a track exclusively for a movie.
"I have tremendous respect and admiration for Coldplay and we are very happy with the way they connected the themes and ideas of the film, "said the director of the film. "The passion and enthusiasm that further increased collaboration and can not wait to share this music with audiences around the world," he added.
"Atlas" will be available for download on iTunes on August 26, while the movie hits theaters on November 22.
