After release date of her new album delayed several times by Interscope, MIA revealed via Twitter her impatience with the record label and threatened to leak the album on the internet.
"Who will stop 'Matangi' release?" She wrote. "If Interscope take longer, I can leak it next week and make a new one when they are ready."
"Matangi" was planned for 2012, but the release date was postponed to April this year. According to Pitchfork, after the singer's outburst on the social network, the label announced that the album will be officially released on November 5.
