Katy Perry is about to set a new personal record in her career. According to the prediction of the U.S. industry, "Roar" will be the biggest selling single in the week of release of all her songs.
The new forecast indicates that the song released on the 12th, will sell between 525,000 and 550,000 copies in the U.S., unlike the earlier prediction of 450,000.
These numbers handily outperform the previous record of the pop star. The “Firework” sold 509,000 copies the week after Christmas 2010.
"Roar" is the first single released from her upcoming album "Prism".
