The Calling is back after eight years hiatus. The announcement was made by frontman Alex Band through his Facebook page.

The announcement came with a video of the band in their new lineup, featuring a new version of the song, "Wherever You Will Go".
The Calling launch a new project called "The Calling: Track 8", with acoustic versions of greatest hits. The group is also working on a new studio album, to be released early next year.
The last work of the group was "Two", 2004. In the year following the release of the album, the group went on hiatus. Since then, Alex Band faced some personal issues, including drug addiction, and invested on solo projects.
