Avenged Sevenfold topped the UK charts with Hail To The King

The Avenged Sevenfold (A7X) topped the UK charts for the first time with the album "Hail To The King", their sixth effort. The heavy metal band overtook the duo Richard & Adam, who were leading selling records in the UK, three weeks ago, with "The Impossible Dream"

"Hotel Cabana" producer Naughty Boy got the second position and revival deluxe album "Halcyon", now titled "Halcyon Days" brought Ellie Goulding back into the top 5 in the third position. Veteran Bob Dylan was in fifth with "Another Self Portrait", his latest collection of unreleased tracks.

Even though the album chart had several changes, singles chart remained virtually unchanged at its highest positions. "Bur" by Ellie Goulding remains at the top for the third consecutive week. "Wake Me Up (Feat. Aloe Blacc)" by AVICII also remained in second place and "Sonnentanz (Sun Do not Shine ft. Heard Will) of Klangkarussell follows in third.

"Summertime Sadness" by Lana Del Rey climbed one position and is now in fourth place. Who also moved up one place in the previous week and Miley Cyrus who took fifth place with "We Can not Stop ".

"Applause" by Lady Gaga was another song that rose slightly, going from ninth to seventh place. Already "Earthquake (Feat. Diplo and Dominique Young) "from DJ Fresh was the fourth to eighth place.
