Miley Cyrus Wrecking Ball conquers the Billboard Hot 100

With her new song work, Miley Cyrus has reached the top of the singles chart, Billboard Hot 100 for the first time. "Wrecking Ball" jumped from No. 22 to the first position, breaking the two-week reign of "Roar" by Katy Perry, who this week ranks second.

Until now, the highest position that the singer had been on the Billboard chart second with the hit "We Can not Stop" and the song "Party In The USA" in 2009.

The video for "Wrecking Ball" broke the record for most views on Vevo in one day, coming to have 19.3 million hits in 24 hours and in just six days reached the milestone of 100 million views. Recently, the artist said that the video reaches 150 million hits, she also confirms to release a new version of video edited by photographer Terry Richardson.

Miley Cyrus fourth studio album, "Bangerz", will hit stores on October 8.
