In Fallout 4, the Power Armor also provides strong protection in combat. At the beginning of the main quest you have the opportunity to find it. As part of the main quest you will encounter Preston Garvey with his help, you can find the first power armor. The battle suit is, however, quite rusty. After the first battle you will notice, that your present power armor needs repair. We show you in our guide how you can repair and modding of the power armor.
What you need to know about the power armor
Find the strongest armor in Fallout 4, you should not miss that. The high armor values will be added further bonuses:
- Once you have the Power Armor tightened, your power attribute will immediately set high on 11 and all other starch-Mods are added.
- Case damage is no longer a problem. On the contrary, you jump on top of the opponent, who suffers a heavy loss.
- Radiation protection is not a problem with the power armor.
- The main battle tank can be expanded with a jetpack.
- You can repair the power armor with the help of individual parts.
- Without a fusion core you can not take advantage of the powerful armor. This you should always take out if you don’t use the battle dress. Remember your armor can be stolen.
- Scrap components like steel, aluminum, copper and plastic are important items to repair the power armor. Learn in our guide for Scrap components
- You can leave the Power Armor by holding down the action button.
Power armor repair and modding
If you need to repair your power armor, you need to go to a Power Armour Station. There you leave the combat suit and go into the modding menu. Here you have access to the objects of your workshop and can use them to repair your power armor and modding.
Of course you can store more power armor in your settlement. For this, you can build a house. The scope of the power armor already offers you 60 damage and power resistance. The remaining parts such as "Left Arm" and "Left leg", enhance the values. You can exchange them at all times and thus repair your power armor. You can find the power armor frames, which form the basis for the battle dress in the following locations:
