DOOM (2016) will require over 50GB HDD space, Hardware Specs

The legendary horror shooter video game DOOM from the developer ID Softwares returns as a remake. In the game, you can go on the hunt for zombies, monsters and demons as stranded Marine. But before getting started, you should check up the official system requirements. One thing is clear: gamers need a lot of patience, especially those who have slow internet connection; because the download size of this game would be 55GB.

Yes, you read that right. You need 55 GB space on your hard drive on the PC to install Doom. The physical copy of the disk will bear only 10GB game data. This means that you still need to download 45 GB from Steam. This can take a while but no problem, making it easy all night, because the preload starts on May 11, 2016 at 0:01 pm at Steam.
