100% Collectible & Achievement Route

The following route keeps the collectible categories together where possible while minimizing unnecessary detours.

1. Poster #1

At the beginning of the DLC, cross the small wooden footbridge.

Look for the poster on the left post of the bridge, immediately before the wooden fence squeeze-gap.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 1/6

2. Poster #2

After squeezing through the fence, crouch underneath the wooden deck.

Instead of heading directly toward the shopping mall, turn left toward the canal edge.

You'll find the second poster near the small bridge.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 2/6

3. Pumpkin Head Mask

Once inside the shopping mall, head to the bottom floor.

On the left side you'll find the optional Pumpkin Head.

Pick it up if you want the cosmetic.

Optional: This mask is not required for the DLC achievement/trophy completion.

4. Poster #3

Continue into the first apparel/clothing store.

Look for fallen posters on the floor near the clothing racks.

Crouch through the right-side clothing rack and follow the trail toward a hole in the wall.

This leads to the poster area.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 3/6

5. Smile for the Camera

In the mall, you'll eventually obtain the camera as part of story progression.

Return to the soldier photo stand-in.

Have one character stand behind the cutout and use the companion command.

Then move the other character in front and take the photograph.

In solo play, the companion can perform the positioning action when commanded.

Achievement: Smile for the Camera

6. Blood Hound Suitcase #1

Return toward the apparel store exit area.

Instead of continuing forward, enter the dark alcove near the glass display cabinet.

You'll find the first collectible suitcase.

Open it.

Then aim the camera into the suitcase and use the flash.

A glowing red sigil appears inside.

Progress: Blood Hound 1/6

📸 Important: Opening the suitcase is not enough. You must flash the camera at the red symbol.

7. Stalking Shadow #1 — Arcade

Continue until you activate the sprinklers and reach the fountain/tank puzzle.

Rotate the fountain tank all the way to the left.

This gives you access to the elevated platform and door leading into the hidden arcade.

Inside the arcade, head toward the far back wall behind the arcade machines.

Aim the camera and use the flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 1/6

8. Space Suit / Astronaut Helmet Mask

While inside the arcade, look for the Space Suit display.

Take a picture of it with the camera to obtain the optional mask.

Optional Mask: Space Suit / Astronaut Helmet Mask

Post-Flamethrower Area

After the flamethrower encounter, several collectibles and achievements can be collected in quick succession.

9. Poster #4

After the flamethrower encounter, pick up an unexploded grenade.

Go to the left side of the room and throw the grenade at the wooden bookshelf.

The explosion destroys the bookshelf and exposes a hidden wall opening.

Squeeze through the opening and interact with the poster wall.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 4/6

💣 Don't skip the grenade: The bookshelf blocks access to Poster #4 until it is destroyed.

10. Blood Hound Suitcase #2

Enter the post-flamethrower exit room.

Look near the left corner wall close to the entrance.

Open the suitcase and use the camera flash on the red sigil.

Progress: Blood Hound 2/6

11. Exploding Suitcase #1

In this same general area, you'll find a different suitcase.

This one is a trap.

Interact with it.

It explodes and kills the character.

You'll respawn in the same area.

Progress: Definition of Insanity 1/2

💥 Warning: These exploding suitcases are deliberately different from the collectible Blood Hound cases.

12. Warm Bodies

After the flamethrower encounter, locate the room with the burning fireplace.

There are two armchairs in front of it.

Have both characters sit down.

Remain seated while the camera performs its wider cinematic pan.

Achievement: Warm Bodies

13. Stalking Shadow #2

Open the secret bookshelf route in the fireplace area.

Follow the dark staircase downward.

At the bottom, look toward the corner surrounded by piles of books and paper.

Use the camera flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 2/6

14. Blood Hound Suitcase #3

Continue through the long corridor containing explosive tripwires.

Near the vertical exit ladder, look at the floor immediately beside the ladder base.

Open the suitcase and flash the red sigil.

Progress: Blood Hound 3/6

⚠️ Watch the tripwires carefully. You can easily run past the suitcase while concentrating on the traps.

Scorched Earth

15. Stalking Shadow #3

After the bathtub sequence, the DLC enters the Scorched Earth section.

At the beginning of the area, you'll see a crashed transit bus.

Look beyond it toward the wrecked civilian car.

The Stalking Shadow is positioned on the hood/roof area of the car.

Use the camera flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 3/6

16. Remains of the Day

Approach the huge bomb crater.

Do not immediately drop into the crater.

Instead, stay on the narrow dirt ledge along the right side.

Follow it to the solitary lookout chair.

Sit down and wait for the camera to pull back.

Achievement: Remains of the Day

Metro Station

17. Stalking Shadow #4

After entering the Metro area, move toward the platform.

Near the foreground edge, look toward the right side of the platform wall overlooking the tracks.

Use the camera flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 4/6

18. Exploding Suitcase #2

Continue through the Metro station.

Look for the second exploding suitcase around the middle portion of the platform.

Interact with it.

It will explode and kill the player.

After the respawn, the second trap will count.

Progress: Definition of Insanity 2/2

Achievement: Definition of Insanity

19. Blood Hound Suitcase #4

At the far end of the Metro station, head toward the blocked/non-functional escalators.

The suitcase is on the platform floor directly in front of the escalator base.

Open it and flash the red sigil.

Progress: Blood Hound 4/6

Axe & Petrified Spider Kids

You obtain the Axe as part of the story.

From this point onward, you can destroy the petrified Spider Kids.

20. Petrified Spider Kid #1

After obtaining the Axe, return to the top of the Metro train carriage.

Use the companion boost to reach the roof.

Walk toward the screen.

Instead of dropping through the hatch where the Axe was found, continue along the roof.

You'll find the first petrified Spider Kid.

Destroy it with the Axe or command your companion to attack.

Progress: Dust Buster 1/6

21. Petrified Spider Kid #2

Drop back down and enter the foreground Metro passenger carriage.

Walk through the interior aisle.

The second petrified Spider Kid is inside the carriage.

Destroy it.

Progress: Dust Buster 2/6

22. Petrified Spider Kid #3

After solving the train-car puzzle and reaching the next Metro station, exit the train.

Immediately check the right-side platform perimeter railing.

The third Spider Kid is positioned nearby.

Destroy it.

Progress: Dust Buster 3/6

23. Poster #5

Remain on this Metro platform.

Move diagonally across the platform toward the front-left corner pillar/wall.

The fifth poster is there.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 5/6

Keycard Area

24. Stalking Shadow #5

Continue toward the elevated walkway and the narrow squeeze door.

Before squeezing through, look at the wall directly to the left of the metal squeeze door.

Use the camera flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 5/6

👀 This one is particularly easy to walk past because there is no conventional collectible prompt before using the camera.

25. Blood Hound Suitcase #5

Enter the keycard/security room.

Before leaving, check the lower-right foreground corner.

Open the suitcase and flash the red sigil.

Progress: Blood Hound 5/6

26. Get the Keycard

Continue through the room and collect the Keycard.

Do not simply continue forward.

The Keycard is the item needed for the secret White Rabbit route.

Into the Dark — White Rabbit Secret

This is one of the most important detours in the entire DLC.

After obtaining the Keycard, backtrack.

Return through the squeeze door you previously used.

Navigate back toward the earlier Metro station.

Drop down onto the subway tracks.

On the left side you'll find a locked electronic door.

Use the Keycard.

Enter the dark passage and continue to the end.

You'll find the white rabbit.

Interact with it.

Achievement: Into the Dark

Quick route

Keycard → squeeze door → previous Metro station → subway tracks → locked Keycard door → dark corridor → White Rabbit

🐇 Do not assume the main route will take you here automatically. The achievement requires deliberately returning to the earlier station after obtaining the Keycard.

Final Metro Ticketing Area

After completing the White Rabbit detour, return to the main route.

Restore the electricity and use the turnstile.

27. Poster #6

Enter the Metro ticketing hall.

Before heading up the stairs to the outside, check the right-side wall inside the ticketing area.

Interact with the final poster.

Progress: Super Fly Poster 6/6

Achievement: Super Fly Poster

28. Petrified Spider Kid #4

Inside the same ticketing hall, look at the main back wall beneath the large station clock.

The Spider Kid is positioned there.

Destroy it.

Progress: Dust Buster 4/6

Outside the Metro

29. Stalking Shadow #6

Go up the stairs and exit to the outdoor area.

Turn right.

Look at the roof of the abandoned civilian sedan.

Use the camera flash.

Progress: Frame Fatale 6/6

Achievement: Frame Fatale

30. Petrified Spider Kid #5

Check the same abandoned sedan.

The fifth Spider Kid is positioned against the passenger-side door/fender area.

Destroy it.

Progress: Dust Buster 5/6

31. Blood Hound Suitcase #6

Look behind the abandoned sedan, near the crashed delivery truck.

The final Blood Hound suitcase is on the ground near the truck's cargo area.

Open it and use the camera flash on the red sigil.

Progress: Blood Hound 6/6

Achievement: The Blood Hound

32. Petrified Spider Kid #6

Continue toward the elevated bridge section.

Look for the wrecked vehicle on the bridge.

The final petrified Spider Kid is leaning against the passenger side of the crashed vehicle.

Destroy it.

Progress: Dust Buster 6/6

Achievement: Dust Buster

33. Finish the DLC

Continue across the crumbling bridge/pillar sequence and complete the story.

Achievement: One Down

That completes the Prisoner DLC achievement set.

4Post-flamethrower areaBehind bookshelf destroyed with grenade

Pick up the unexploded grenade in the post-flamethrower area and throw it at the bookshelf.

The destroyed bookshelf reveals the opening leading to the poster.

How Stalking Shadows work

These don't behave like conventional interactable collectibles.

Look for suspicious dark shapes or silhouettes in the environment.

Then:

  1. Equip the camera.
  2. Aim directly at the shadow.
  3. Trigger the flash.
  4. The shadow briefly becomes visible.
  5. It disappears after being registered.

The two-step activation matters

For each Blood Hound suitcase:

Open → Aim camera → Flash red sigil

Simply opening the suitcase does not complete the collectible interaction.

The glowing red symbol inside the case is the visual confirmation that the suitcase has registered.

Achievement: The Blood Hound

Exploding Suitcases & Definition of Insanity

There are two different types of suitcase interactions in the DLC.

Blood Hound suitcases

These are the six collectible cases.

You open them and photograph the red sigil.

Exploding suitcases

These are traps.

Interacting with them causes an immediate explosion and death.

The two locations are:

  • Post-flamethrower room
  • Metro station

You must activate both traps.

Achievement: Definition of Insanity

💥 Don't confuse the two systems: the six Blood Hound suitcases are collectible objects, while the two exploding cases are deliberately lethal traps.

The achievement description specifically requires being killed by all exploding suitcase traps.

Missable Achievements & Trophies

The following achievements are easy to miss if you don't know they exist:

Into the Dark

Requires backtracking after obtaining the Keycard.

Return to the earlier Metro station, drop to the tracks, use the Keycard on the locked door, and find the White Rabbit.

Definition of Insanity

Must be killed by both exploding suitcases.

If you avoid the traps, the achievement does not unlock.

Warm Bodies

Both characters must sit in the armchairs and remain seated during the cinematic pan.

Remains of the Day

Requires sitting in the chair at the crater edge and waiting for the camera pullback.

Smile for the Camera

Requires positioning one character behind the photo stand-in while the other takes the picture.

Optional Masks

The Prisoner DLC also contains two optional cosmetic masks.

Pumpkin Head

Location: Bottom floor of the shopping mall, left side.

Simply interact with the Pumpkin Head to collect it.

Mask #2: Space Suit / Astronaut Helmet Mask

Location: Hidden arcade.

Take a picture of the Space Suit / Astronaut Helmet display with your camera.

🎭 Neither mask is required for the 10 DLC achievements/trophies.

Secret Areas & Hidden Routes

Several of the DLC's collectibles are deliberately hidden behind alternate routes.

Clothing Rack Wall Hole

Inside the first apparel store:

Clothing rack → crouch through hanging clothes → wall hole → Poster #3

Secret Arcade

At the fountain puzzle:

Rotate tank left → reach raised platform → enter door → arcade

The arcade contains:

  • Stalking Shadow #1
  • Mask #2: Space Suit / Astronaut Helmet Mask location

Bookshelf Grenade Hole

After the flamethrower encounter:

Pick up unexploded grenade → destroy left bookshelf → squeeze through opening → Poster #4

Fireplace Stairwell

In the fireplace area:

Open hidden bookshelf route → descend stairs → Stalking Shadow #2

Keycard Subway Door

After obtaining the Keycard:

Backtrack → previous Metro platform → drop to tracks → Keycard door → White Rabbit

This is the route for Into the Dark.

Important Collectible Tips

1. Use the camera frequently

The camera isn't only a story tool.

It is essential for:

  • Blood Hound Suitcases
  • Stalking Shadows
  • Smile for the Camera
  • Space Suit mask

If something looks suspiciously dark or out of place, try the camera.

2. Don't mistake the exploding cases for collectibles

The exploding suitcases look like normal cases but serve a different purpose.

You actually want to trigger both explosions for Definition of Insanity.

Expect to die.

3. Check the environment before progressing

The Prisoner frequently places collectibles just before an obvious progression point.

Good examples include:

  • Poster #5 before the squeeze door
  • Suitcase #5 before leaving the Keycard room
  • Poster #6 before the stairs
  • Spider Kid #4 beneath the station clock

4. The Keycard creates a deliberate backtracking section

Once you get the Keycard, don't immediately commit to the forward route.

Return through the squeeze door and revisit the earlier subway platform.

That's where the secret White Rabbit door is located.

5. Spider Kids require the Axe

Don't waste time trying to destroy the petrified Spider Kids before the Axe becomes available.

Once you have it, you can destroy them directly or use the companion attack command.

6. Watch for camera-pan achievements

For Warm Bodies and Remains of the Day, reaching the correct chair isn't necessarily the final step.

Sit down and remain there while the camera completes its cinematic movement.

7. Use chapter/section replay if you miss something

The game's main trophy guides confirm that REANIMAL supports Chapter Select/Chapter Replay for cleanup of many missed objectives, although some base-game collectibles have special single-playthrough requirements.

For the Prisoner DLC, the safest approach is still to collect everything during your first run rather than relying on cleanup.
