The Human Intel 1/2 chapter in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 DMZ contains three Orders: Hunter, Triage Protocol, and No One Left. Completing all three earns the Flash Recipe, $20,000 Cash, and a Basic Triage Kit.

Each Order has an objective that can be easy to miss. Hunter requires you to use a tower terminal, Triage Protocol involves collecting specific medical supplies, and No One Left does not finish simply because you cleared a Compound.

This guide explains how to complete all three Orders, where to find the required items, what to check if progress stops, and how to use the Flash Recipe for the next Human Intel chapter.

Quick Answer: How to Complete Human Intel 1/2

Complete these three Orders to finish Human Intel 1/2:

Order What You Need to Do
Hunter Climb a Hunt Lieutenant Tower and use the terminal at the top.
Triage Protocol Visit a Clinic, loot a Bandage, and collect 30 Chemicals.
No One Left Clear a Compound and collect the dropped Medical Extraction Intel.

Human Intel 1/2 completion rewards:

  • Flash Recipe — unlocks Flash Grenade crafting.
  • $20,000 Cash
  • Basic Triage Kit

All three Orders must be completed to earn the page rewards.

Stuck on an Order? Check the individual objective in your tracker. Reaching a location or clearing enemies does not always complete every requirement.

Human Intel 1/2 Orders and Rewards

Human Intel 1/2 focuses on locating enemy personnel, collecting medical supplies, and recovering information from hostile compounds across Hajin.

The chapter contains three Orders:

  • Hunter: Locate a Hunt Lieutenant Tower and use its terminal.
  • Triage Protocol: Visit a Clinic and collect a Bandage and 30 Chemicals.
  • No One Left: Clear a Compound and recover Medical Extraction Intel.

What Do You Get for Completing Human Intel 1/2?

Finishing the page awards:

  • Flash Recipe
  • $20,000 Cash
  • Basic Triage Kit

These are page-completion rewards, not individual rewards for each Order.

The Flash Recipe is especially useful because Human Intel 2/2 includes Blindness, an Order that requires you to print Flash Grenades and use them against enemies.

How to Start Human Intel 1/2 in MW4 DMZ

Human Intel is one of the chapters available through the DMZ Orders system.

To find it:

  1. Return to your Forward Operating Base (FOB).
  2. Open the DMZ Orders menu.
  3. Locate the Human Intel chapter.
  4. Select Human Intel 1/2.
  5. Review the Hunter, Triage Protocol, and No One Left objectives.

Why Does Human Intel Show a Different Page Number?

You may see Human Intel described as DMZ Orders Page 2.

However, the overall page number depends on which chapter you selected first.

The more reliable identifier is Human Intel 1/2, which refers to the first half of the Human Intel chapter.

If your Orders menu shows a different page number, look for the Human Intel chapter name rather than relying only on the page number.

Hunter: How to Find and Use a Hunt Lieutenant Tower

Hunter requires you to reach a Hunt Lieutenant Tower and interact with its terminal to locate the nearest enemy Lieutenant.

Hunter Objectives

  • Locate and Climb a Hunt Lieutenant Tower.
  • Use the Terminal at the Top to Locate the Nearest Lieutenant.

Where to Find a Hunt Lieutenant Tower

Hunt Lieutenant Towers have their own icons on the Hajin tactical map.

One location worth checking is near Tong-il Village, around grid D3.

Open your tactical map, identify a Hunt Lieutenant Tower, and place a marker on it.

Once you arrive, approach the structure and climb to the terminal platform.

How to Complete Hunter

  1. Travel to a Hunt Lieutenant Tower.
  2. Climb to the top.
  3. Find the terminal.
  4. Interact with it to locate the nearest Lieutenant.
  5. Check your Hunter Order tracker.

The terminal interaction is essential. Simply reaching or climbing the tower does not complete both objectives.

Do You Need to Kill the Lieutenant?

No. Hunter requires you to climb the tower and use its terminal to locate the nearest Lieutenant.

Defeating the Lieutenant is not part of these two Order objectives.

If Hunter remains incomplete, check whether the terminal interaction registered.

For additional tower details, see our MW4 DMZ Hunter Order: Lieutenant Hunt Tower Guide.

Triage Protocol: Clinic Location, Bandage and 30 Chemicals

Triage Protocol requires you to visit a Clinic and collect medical supplies.

It has three separate objectives, so reaching the Clinic alone is not enough.

Triage Protocol Objectives

  1. Head to a Clinic.
  2. Loot a Bandage.
  3. Loot 30 Chemicals.

Where to Find a Clinic in Hajin

One useful location is the Clinic in Pyeonghwa Village.

On the tactical map, look south of the 14th Political Prison, on the west side of the river. The Clinic has a medical cross icon.

Another option is the Clinic in Deadtown, around grid B7.

You do not have to visit one specific Clinic to complete Triage Protocol.

Choose an accessible location and check whether the first objective registers when you enter.

How to Find a Bandage for Triage Protocol

Once inside a Clinic, search the patient-care areas.

At the Pyeonghwa Village Clinic, Bandages can appear on bedside tables near the ward beds.

Check:

  • Bedside tables
  • Patient rooms
  • Medical supply areas
  • Nearby medical loot containers

Look for the item named Bandage and pick it up.

Important: You must loot a Bandage for the objective to register. Entering the Clinic or collecting other medical items does not replace this requirement.

If the first bedside table is empty, search the other ward tables and nearby containers.

How to Collect 30 Chemicals

Triage Protocol requires you to loot 30 Chemicals.

Search medical containers inside the Clinic, including First Aid Kits, medical bags, and cabinets.

Other useful containers include duffel bags and searchable shelves.

Watch the Order counter as you collect Chemicals. It should increase toward 30/30.

If you cannot collect all 30 inside the Clinic, continue searching other loot containers around Hajin.

You do not need to obtain all 30 Chemicals from one container.

Triage Protocol Not Progressing?

Check which of the three objectives remains incomplete:

  • Head to a Clinic: Enter a location marked as a Clinic and check whether the objective registers.
  • Loot a Bandage: Pick up the Bandage item rather than relying on other healing supplies.
  • Loot 30 Chemicals: Continue collecting Chemicals until the counter reaches 30/30.

If your inventory fills while searching, our MW4 DMZ Backpack Full guide explains how to manage loot without unnecessarily discarding valuable items.

No One Left: Clear a Compound and Find Medical Extraction Intel

No One Left is the third Order in Human Intel 1/2.

You must clear a hostile Compound and collect the Medical Extraction Intel dropped after the clearance.

No One Left Objectives

  • Clear a Compound.
  • Loot Dropped Medical Extraction Intel Found After Clearing a Compound.

Both objectives must register.

How to Find and Clear a Compound

Compounds have their own house-and-flag icons on the Hajin tactical map.

You can use a Compound such as Compound Charlie, located on the wooded river island east of Pyeonghwa Village and north of Imjin Suburb.

Other suitable Compounds can also count.

To complete the first objective:

  1. Open your tactical map and locate a Compound.
  2. Travel to the marked location.
  3. Eliminate the enemies required to clear it.
  4. Wait for the Compound clearance to register.
  5. Look for the dropped Medical Extraction Intel.

Be prepared for combat before entering the Compound.

Where to Find Medical Extraction Intel

After the Compound is cleared, look for the dropped Medical Extraction Intel.

Inspect the area and watch for the relevant loot marker.

Approach the intel and collect it to satisfy the second objective.

Do not leave immediately when the Compound clearance reaches 100%. Clearing the location and collecting the intel are separate requirements.

Compound Cleared but No One Left Is Still Incomplete?

If the clearance objective is complete, check whether the Medical Extraction Intel objective remains unchecked.

The Compound safe and other nearby loot are separate from the named intel pickup.

Focus on finding the dropped intel before leaving the area.

For a more detailed walkthrough, see our MW4 DMZ No One Left: Medical Extraction Intel guide.

How to Unlock the Flash Recipe in MW4 DMZ

To unlock the Flash Recipe, complete Hunter, Triage Protocol, and No One Left in Human Intel 1/2.

The Flash Recipe is a page-completion reward alongside $20,000 Cash and a Basic Triage Kit.

Do You Need to Find the Flash Recipe as Loot?

No. This unlock comes from Human Intel Order progression.

You do not need to search loot containers for a separate Flash Recipe item to complete this chapter.

Where to Check the Flash Recipe

After finishing all three Orders:

  1. Return to your FOB.
  2. Open the DMZ Orders menu and check the Human Intel page.
  3. Confirm the page's completion and reward status.
  4. Open the 3D Printer.
  5. Select Tacticals and look for Flash.

The Flash Recipe allows you to print Flash Grenades when you have the required materials.

If Flash remains locked, first confirm that every Human Intel 1/2 Order is marked complete.

Human Intel 1/2 Not Completing? Check These Objectives

If Human Intel 1/2 appears stuck, use the Order tracker to identify the missing requirement.

Problem What to Check
Hunter incomplete Use the terminal at the top of a Hunt Lieutenant Tower.
Triage Protocol incomplete Confirm the Clinic visit, Bandage pickup, and 30/30 Chemicals counter.
No One Left incomplete Collect the dropped Medical Extraction Intel after clearing the Compound.
Flash Recipe unavailable Confirm all three Orders and the Human Intel page reward status.

What if an Objective Still Does Not Register?

First, check the exact objective wording in the DMZ Orders menu.

For Hunter, confirm the terminal interaction rather than simply climbing the tower.

For Triage Protocol, check which of the three objectives is still unchecked.

For No One Left, distinguish the Compound clearance from the Medical Extraction Intel pickup.

If all listed requirements appear complete but the tracker has not updated, the remaining cause is not established by these checks. Avoid assuming that a specific workaround will fix every progression issue.

What Unlocks Next in Human Intel 2/2?

The next part of the Human Intel chapter includes:

  • Blindness
  • Payment Due
  • Operation Critical Extraction

Blindness is especially relevant because it uses the Flash Recipe earned from Human Intel 1/2.

Blindness Objectives

  • Print 4 Flash Grenades.
  • Kill 8 Flashed Enemies.

You must print the Flash Grenades at the FOB 3D Printer.

After completing the printing objective, deploy with Flash Grenades equipped and eliminate enemies while they are affected by the flash.

How Many Materials Do You Need for Four Flash Grenades?

One Flash Grenade requires:

  • 10 Synthetics
  • 10 Chemicals

To print four Flash Grenades, you need:

Material Total Required
Synthetics 40
Chemicals 40

At the FOB 3D Printer, open Tacticals, select Flash, and print four grenades.

You can use Print to Operator to equip a grenade or Print to Stash to store it.

Check that the Blindness printing objective reaches 4/4 before moving on to the flashed-enemy kills.

Collecting the materials ahead of time can make the transition to Human Intel 2/2 easier.

Final Tips for Human Intel 1/2

Human Intel 1/2 is easiest to finish when you track each Order's individual objectives instead of assuming a single action completes the task.

For Hunter, confirm the terminal interaction registers after you climb. For Triage Protocol, pick up the named Bandage item and watch the Chemicals counter reach 30/30. For No One Left, remember that clearing the Compound and collecting the dropped Medical Extraction Intel are separate steps.
