The film is directed by Greg Mottola and written by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. It is about Graeme Willy (played by Simon Pegg) and Clive Gollings (played by Nick Frost) two comic book nerds from British have visited to US to attend the yearly Comic-Con meeting. Thereafter, the two take a road trip of all the infamous UFO sites in Western America. One night, while in Area 51, they witness a strange accident, and come across Paul (voiced by Seth Rogen), who is a slacker / foul mouth escaped alien from Area 51. Paul is being hunted by government agents, and Willy and Gollings have no choice but to take him with them, and now it's up to these two Brits to get Paul to his spaceship and on his way home.
If you liked British humor seen in Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead then Paul is your movie. It may not be as funny as those two movies but there is plenty of humor along the way.
