Ice Age 4 - Manny Diego and Sid are back for another adventure

Ice Age: Continental Drift is the 4th entry in the well-known Ice Age animated film series and fans would love to hear that their favorite sub-zero gang is back for yet another adventure. It has been nine years since the original movie in the series, Ice Age, was released. It told the tale in relation to how three dissimilar animals a mammoth, a saber toothed tiger and a sloth became friends during the Ice Age and save the human baby. In some ways, it was a crucial movie as it gave expectation to the CGI area in other studios that they, too could expert in the new age of animation. The film wasn't a stand out just because of the vivid animation, but because the film had a wonderful storyline packed with superb characters and a sense of humor. The film's achievement assured that there would be more sequels.

But this film series have not let down fans in the past, and with the talented cast that has been involved, once more, this one won't either as the original cast members are all returning to reprise their roles in this new project - Ray Romano gives his voice to Mammoths Manny, Denis Leary as Diego, John Leguizamo as Sid, Queen Latifah as Ellie, Seann William Scott as Crash, Josh Peck as Eddie, Jennifer Lopez as Shira and also Nicki Minaj will be joining the cast as an unknown character.

The film is currently in production and Steve Martino of Horton Hears A Who! and Mike Thurmeier of Ice age 3 are directing the movie. Ice Age: Continental Drift is set for release in theaters on July 13, 2012.
