JC Chandor Margin Call Coming to DVD/BD this December

Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing J.C. Chandor’s Margin Call to DVD and Blu-ray just in time for the holiday shopping season on December 20, 2011. Both Discs will contain extra materials such as Audio commentary with writer/director JC Chandor and producer Neal Dodson, Behind-the-Scenes featurette and Deleted Scenes. The DVD will be available for the price of $ 19.98 while Blu-ray will be available for the price of $ 29.99.

The film starts with something we can expect to see in these days of economic crises: a mass firing. Eric Dale (played by Stanley Tucci) he gives Seth Bregman (Zachary Quinto) a thumb drive of a project he had been working on, and asks Seth to watch out as he fears at the figures. The VI shows the company will incur debit that will significantly exceed the value of its total properties. It has some assets which are nothing more than collection of various risk mortgages. If they try to sell them all, without purchasing, customers might think something is up and may not purchase their assets, and they are trapped in the middle of a "rock and a hard place."

The film brings some excellent performance from Zachary Quinto, Keven Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons and Demi Moore. It presents faces and form to what could explain to be an economic disaster that could leave the country in ruins.
