The team behind the “Hotel Transylvania” has a pretty good record
in making similar flicks such as Astro Boy and Space Chimps 2. Hotel
Transylvania is directed by Genndy Tartakovsky and voiced by Adam Sandler as
Dracula, Selena Gomez as Mavis, Andy Samberg as Johnnystein and Cee Lo Green as
Murray .
The film follows a young vampire Mavis who wants to discover
the world. But her over protective dad Dracula does not want her to go out and mix
with humans. He believes that humans do not like vampires and will try to harm
his daughter but he did tell his daughter that when she turned 118 (18 in human
growth years), she could go. The film centers on his daughter's 118th birthday party.
Dracula invites all of the famous monsters to his daughter's birthday party, but
they have an unexpected visitor… a human.
If you missed this family flick in theater, no worries: The “Hotel
Transylvania” home video (3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD, and digital download) is
scheduled for release on January 29, 2013 with lots of extras as listed below:
