Fleetwood Mac to reunite for a North American tour, setlist

Fleetwood Mac began as a blues band in the late sixties. Things started to change for the group, as co-founding members Peter Green and Jeremy Spencer gradually started to lose ground to drugs. Come some years later, Lindsey Buckingham was requested to join the group on guitar, but Lindsey said he would join the group only under the condition that they would allow Stevie Nicks in as well.

Mick and John had never been the artistic driving force behind their band, and it was Lindsey and his commitment to the same sort of carefully arranged music of the Beatles and the Beach Boys that produced the Supergroup of the late seventies. More than anything else it was the great harmonies that gave the new and better Fleetwood Mac its unique and popular sound. Lindsey's vision would come to light on "Rumours," where he was obviously the dominate force in terms of the songwriting, either by himself or in live shows with the rest of the group.

Its been five years since they last appeared on stage, Fleetwood Mac will reunite for North American Tour which will coincide with the 35th anniversary of the release of their commercially successful album Rumours. The band will also re-release the classic record as a 3-disc set, schedule for release on January 29, 2013. It is packed with new songs from the recording sessions and live recordings from their 1977 world tour.

Fleetwood Mac’s 2013 North American Tour will kick off on April 04, 2013 at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA and will conclude on Jun.12.2013 at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI.
