Neil Young is a singer-songwriter that has proved to be both outstanding as well as mediocre at times. He is one of the few survivors from the sixties, who has been able to revamp himself completely several times. While some of his early materials were a bit too hippyish for my tastes, from the time when Young and his band released Tonight’s The Night he has been able to amaze me quite a bit.
Psychedelic Pill is the newest album from Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Like most of their past material, the songs here seem more intended for live shows than radio and most of them are lengthy and hold the sonic trademarks that have defined most of their best material since 'Rust never Sleeps'.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse are currently touring across Australia playing various live shows in support of their new album. This tour will also include several European countries such as England, Germany, France and Italy. In addition to previously announced shows, Neil Young and Crazy Horse have added more dates to their forthcoming UK tour.
