After releasing the audio for his new single, Nelly dropped behind the scenes footage for Get Like. The track is also featuring rapper Nicki Minaj the producer Pharrell Williams.
Directed by Colin Tilley, the video was recorded in New York and shows the trio dressed in white and singing verses of the song. The full music video will be released later this month.
“Get Like Me” will feature Nelly’s upcoming album "MO", to be released this year. Besides Minaj and Pharrell Williams, MO will include guest appearances by Nelly Furtado, Trey Songz , TI and Wiz Khalifa .
Nelly is hip-hop artist, there's no denying that he's a part of the contemporary essence. While he has never been a good lyricist he did well in the harmonizing and melody driven songs that seem to be the trend just now. However, he shows on Get Like Me that he still has some tricks up his sleeve.
