Alex Band was allegedly taken by a van and abandoned on a railway line
Alex Band, known as the voice of The Calling , was the victim of a kidnapping for ransom this weekend.
According to TMZ, the singer was in Lapeer in the U.S. state of Michigan, to attend a music festival. At 4 am (local time) on Sunday, the musician decided to take a walk from his hotel to a nearby market.
During the tour, a van stopped beside him and the people who were there put him in and started beating him. Some time later, he was left near a railroad.
Members of the band informed the police as soon as they noticed the absence of the singer. Although he survived, the site did not motion about his health status. The case is under police investigation.
