Bruce Springsteen reveals ‘High Hopes’ Release Date and Cover Art

Bruce Springsteen has finally confirmed the release date for his new album "High Hopes," which will be released on January 14, 2014. It is his 18th studio album and the artist will have a mixture of new recordings, covers and unreleased tracks. The cover art was also released.

The title track of the album was first recorded by him in 1996 in an obscure EP. The new version of this cover, band The unknown Havalinas, launched today as the first single from the album.

Another track that is already known on the album is the version of "Dream Baby Dream" from Suicide he had already released on YouTube a few weeks ago.

Among the remakes big highlight is "The Ghost of Tom Joad"- a track that was recorded in 1997 acoustically now gets its electric version in a duet with Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine.

The controversial "American Skin (41 shots)" which had been officially released on a live album at the beginning of the last decade, now will also have a studio version.
