The lead singer of Silverchair, Daniel Johns, is back with new music. The singer can be heard soon in the single "Impossible" with Matt Colwell, better known in the rap and hip hop scene as Australian 360.
"It started as an experiment in composition to Matt’s new album,"said Johns." None of us expected, I ended up singing in the band, but we both enjoyed the demo and thought, 'Why not?' Hip hop is obviously more Matt’s world than mine but we had a lost more in common than people imagined, so it was an interesting collaboration," concluded the musician.
Despite having recorded a track for a commercial in 2012, "Impossible" is the first work of Daniel Johns since Silverchair announced a hiatus in 2011 and also his first music video since 2007.
The rapper will be officially announced the release of his new single on January 17. Meanwhile, the voice of "Ana's Song (Open Fire)" working on his solo album to be released later this year.
