AC / DC plan new album and 40th anniversary tour in 2014

The AC / DC will finally enter the studio in May to record a new album, follow-up to "Black Ice" released in 2008. The band is also preparing for a special tour to celebrate their 40th anniversary.

“Just do not expect a big turning with dozens and dozens of shows around the world”. Lead singer Brian Johnson said. “the idea this time is to do only 40 shows”.

For the American radio station 98.7 Gater, Johnson said the band will try to make these 40 shows to thank their fans, "who honestly are the best in the world."

"Then we'll have to go out on tour, even with age starting "Johnson, 66, is the oldest of the group, while guitarist Angus Young, with 58, is the youngest. "But you know, it's been four years since the last show of the band, and I'm very anxious," added the singer.

Brazilian fans hope that at least one of 40 shows will take place in Brazil. The AC / DC performed three times in the country: the first Rock in Rio in 1985, 1996 and in 2009.
