Queen ponders U.S. tour with Adam Lambert

Brian May and Roger Taylor are considering doing a tour with Adam Lambert as lead singer.

Lambert has already done a few shows with the band and pleased the crowd and the two members who follow the group - bassist John Deacon stayed away from the music scene for nearly two decades and makes no public appearances.

About the decision to use the name of the band that made him famous, May said that after Freddie died in 1992 a victim of HIV, they did not talk about the band or part of the Queen. "But after a while you find that people want to hear these songs and see us do things” said the guitarist for BBC radio. The guitarist then hinted that the group is looking to make a summer tour in the U.S.
