Kate Bush announces comeback after 35 years

Kate Bush has announced a series of concerts that will take place in London in August. The "Before The Dawn" is the first tour since 1979, the year of the "Tour Of Life" - whose 28 concerts were the ones she ever made throughout her career.

Since then, she only made occasional appearances on television or charitable events, most recently in 2002 when she sang "Comfortably Numb" together with her biggest supporter in the beginning of her career: David Gilmour of Pink Floyd.

Until today, it was never clear why they abandoned the Bush on stage - among the reasons cited are panic claimed by riding on airplanes, and perfectionism of the singer, who feels the need to have total control over anything involving her name.

What not many people know is that the "Tour Of Life", with its mix of music, dance and mime, besides interludes created to entertain the audience during costume changes, basically created the Concert of pop music as it is known today.

She was also, years before Madonna, the first person to use a microphone attached to the head, to be able to sing and dance at the same time during a concert.

Tickets for the shows go on sale next week. They are expected to sell out quickly, since Kate Bush enjoys enormous prestige and popularity especially in England.
