Singer Jennifer Lopez will not perform at the 2014 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony, which takes place this Thursday (12) in Sao Paulo, said FIFA on Sunday (8).
The artist, who recorded the official song of the World Cup, "We Are One (Ole Ola) with rapper Pitbull and Claudia Leitte, her presence at the ceremony was canceled for 'production reason' explained the organization of the event without revealing more details.
FIFA confirmed that the song will be performed by Pitbull, Claudia Leitte and the band Olodum.
Last week, the record label Sony Music Chile posted on Twitter that the Colombian singer Shakira also sing at the opening ceremony, but later deleted the announcement.
