Adel’s fans can now begin the countdown to the release of their anticipated new album.
The singer’s third studio album, called "25", will be preceded by a short promotional tour
as early as next year, it may still occur in 2014.
The news was announced by The World Music Awards via Twitter.
Rumors indicated that the album would be released without prior notice on iTunes, as did Beyoncé with her eponymous album last December. However, the information was denied by the president of Columbia Records in a recent interview with the Hits Daily Double.
