Shakira to perform at FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony in Brazil

After many rumors, FIFA finally announced the presence of Shakira at the closing ceremony of the World Cup in Brazil. Through a statement, the authority confirmed that the Colombian singer will perform, "La La La (Brazil 2014),” with Carlinhos Brown.

"I have a deep relationship with football, for obvious reasons, and I understand perfectly what the World Cup means for many people, including me. I'm very grateful for the opportunity to perform in the closing ceremony of the World Cup this year in Brazil. Fans embraced this song so incredible. Hardly wait to sing it for them," said Shakira.

Besides Shakira and Carlinhos Brown, Ivete Sangalo will also perform at the event featuring a potpourri of successes of the national music, with a special appearance by Alexandre Pires. The singer will also go up on stage for the performance of official song "Dar Um Jeito (We Will Find a Way) (Feat. Wyclef Jean, Alexandre Pires & AVICII)", next to Santana and Wyclef Jean.

The closing ceremony will begin at 14:20 on the 13th July, at the Maracanã Stadium, before the final match.
