AC / DC announces new album and retirement of Malcolm Young

Good and bad news for AC / DC fans. Starting with the good side, the band announced the release of "Rock Or Bust" on December 01. This is the seventeenth studio album by the Australian hard rock group and reaches the market six years after "Black Ice" its last and successful launch. The quintet also confirmed a world tour in 2015 to promote the new album.

The band also announced the final retirement of guitarist Malcolm Young who suffered a stroke in April this year that left him unable to play - today the group refused to give more details about what really happened to the musician, and what his actual health status.

This then will be the band's first album that does not feature the guitarist, who was replaced by his nephew Stevie. There have also been rumors that the album may bring some music composed by Malcolm.

A small sample of the new work will be released this weekend. An excerpt from the still unreleased "Play Ball" will appear in ads for the next season of American baseball at Turner Sports channel starting next Saturday (27).
